Oh how the mighty are fallen! This station must have been quite impressive in it's heyday... like many bits of Wakefield we suspect... Now it appears as a side-lined ghost in a neighbourhood of debris. The wonderful Medieval Chapel on the nearby bridge is another abandonned architectural relic, courtesy of past local council ''thinking''! Howard Selina. Hens-Teeth.com
