Calm and peaceful alright! But it reminds me of Latin lessons in school :-(
Thank You Iolar!
But why reminds it you your Latin lessons at school?
Is it because of the bridge or an other story?
The Romans! Didn't they build that bridge?
Yes, the Romans built it, it was a part of a 50 km long canal from Úzes to the city of Nimes, and it's also add by The World Heritage Site of Unesco.
This is 'Pont du Gard' it's not far from Avignon(around the 20 KM) it was a part of a 50 km long canal from Uzés to the city of Nimes. It was build in the 1st century.it's 49 metres high and it has got 3 floors and is 275 metres long.it is also sponsored by World Heritage Site of Unesco.
That's a very beautiful photo, WV. Wonderful bridge!
Thanks for your kind comments Worldvision. Some great pictures in your collection from all around Europe. Particularly liked this one of the majestic Roman aqueduct for the framing and warm colours and the boats!
Thank you for your comments, pete!!
This is my absolutely favorite of my collection, and I didn't photoshop (or something else) this picture!
Heel mooie omlijsting door de bladeren WorldVision! Complimenten, Dick.

Salut, Sandu ! Vous avez très bien compris que j'ai utilisé "y" pour remplacer "le Pont du Gard";
Bonne continuation dans vos études de Français.
Et bonjour de France et du Périgorg en particulier!
Bhalo Kaj/good work
