Great to hear from you Ronan!
Poland having bad areas is a rear case indeed and not often do you hear about it. France has problems with urban unrest, such as the Paris banlieue and Lion. The UK's main problem is crime and poor policing and does not suffer as much like the US. Over the other side of the pond, when the suburban boom started the imigrants inherited sub standard housing and that led to poverty and crime. Communities are more segregated over there then the UK.
Regards.

By the way, since we're talking about war zones in the US, then you should check out: "A Tour of Detroit's Ghetto" in Youtube which is a daytime cruise around Detroit's worse areas. It'll freak you out!

Yeah i seen it! You would of thought it was New Orleans after the hurricane! The film 8 Mile looks rather tame compared to the Detroit Ghetto Tour!

Thanks for posting these pictures. In the mid 70s to early 80s, I used to sometimes enter these areas for a day to work with a relative - it wasn't fun. There is an older horror movie called 'The Howling', which shows some of these neighborhoods, like the Charlotte Street area.
