You certainly find some interesting places on your interesting walks, Peter. I also enjoyed looking at the accompanying GE imagery for the old line makes its mark on the landscape.

Hi Ian

It is good to see these old lines being turned into public footpaths. I will upload some further pictures going in the opposite direction on the line which show the dark side. Close to habitation it seems to be used as a rubbish dump, and a place to burn the rubber off tyres!

I notice your interesting Landscape Repetition and have begun to check if there are any in my collection. I think it deserves a tag.
