Very nice photo
Greetings, / Bedri
Precious corals, borrowed their colour from dawn....
Yes it is! BO
Thank you Goran, Maja and Bedri.
The recent storms had deepened the waves, breaking free great quantities of kelp and a variety of other algae. I loved the contrast between the green of the macro-kelp and the soft pinks of the articulated coralline algae.
Thanks for your appreciation, imagery and nomination.
Good detail, Ian. There's beauty in the smallest things. Even in algae.
Norrel, I most often regard photography as "receiving", rather then "taking", and this moment is just another example of that sense and of the joy that comes with it.
Now please work hard in the office today, my friend - not too much time out on the patio, or looking at your old building, or working on Panoramio! ;))
Thanks for your appreciative visit. Have a great day.
Love it. R
I am sure you do, Robyn. Could make a wonderful table arrangement for 18 Dec!
Very good shot and good of you that you saw it Ian. Greetings Berend
Thanks Berend. There evidently had been some wild storms at sea for there was many tonnes of kelp and algal debris on the beach.
It's a beautiful still life, Ian! I love the colour combination, the light and shadow, the textures, and the over all balance. BoP and ☆
That is very nice, Ian.
Brisbane to Regina Greetings.
Your artist's appreciation of images is always very well received here, Theolfa. And the praise is well received too - thanks for the BoP nomination and selection as a favourite.
Beautiful and interesting detail, dear Ian! Very artistic image!! Best wishes, Simona
Thank you, Simona. Hope you receive this image as a personal gift, dear friend.
:) Thanks,..thanks! Lovely gift! Have a beautiful day, dear Ian! Simona
Chunky earrings to go with the coral satin and white beads in the thumbnail photo just above this one, Ian...??
At this rate Mother Nature has provided us with a most exquisite outfit to wear to the Winter Beach Ball. And won't we look grand..!!!
Warmest wishes, Hazel
And we danced all night! And didn't worry about the golden slipper for we were barefoot on a golden beach!
Thankyou, Hazel for your colourful delight and your magical descriptions.
