The classic view through the window of this log chapel shows the Grand Teton in all its glory, but perhaps it is appropriate to have a the peak partially shrouded in mystery.
This is a great shot, Marilyn. I love the clouds partly hiding the mountains and the cross - very beautiful composition! Greetings, Anne
Thanks, Anne. It was one of those occasions when I was disappointed at the time: I wanted the famous, clear view that I had seen years earlier. But on reflection, I was given something quite lovely instead!
This one is beautifull, Marilyn
Thank you, Alex and Lucrecia.
Si, es cierto.
Beautiful... don't be disappointed, it's a great photo and, above all, it doesn't look like a postcard. Ciao, Stefano
Thanks, Stefano. When I was young, I wanted to take postcard-like photos. But I've grown up, and I appreciate your comment!!
Very, very nice catch. Cheers!
i like how the window framed your photo for you, beautiful shot Marilyn :o)
Thanks, Stefano, for giving me the link to your excellent photo. And thanks, artwall and Rom@nce for your comments which I don't seem to have acknowledged. Sorry!
I just love it! You should stitch them together!!
Thanks, stranskyat. No stitch, but I'll add a link.
Here is a view of the window from the outside.
A better view than its namesake in Camp Remington, Custer SD.
Thanks for your visit, John, which led me to discover your lovely cherry tree photos. Best wishes, Marilyn
