Thanks again Sorina for your kind appreciation of my photo's, especially my sunset/rise series. As for your question regarding my use of filters. Yes I use filters to protect my lens but no, I do not use anything more, except a new polarising filter to make the sky's a bit bluer, but I rarely use that. I like most keen photographers, instead use photo editing programs to adjust colours if needed. These programs are our modern day filters and give us an unlimited choice of filters. Some people would say they are not the same as the old glass ones but I have had those and say electronic ones are better. This picture is this strong red because It has been taken with a very powerful zoom lens just zooming into the very red area of the sea. Hope this helps, Herb
