Plane catcher in Etobicoke

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

It is on a flight path to the airport. This old factory (Consumers Glass) is closed for last 5-6 years, so catching airplanes would breathe a new life into it.

I watched a movie the other night on TV and this building was shown in it as a hiding place for a Toronto terrorist group.

It is now abandoned, but I knew few people who used to work there (Glass Factory).

The claws are now removed,(2011) and it is now a full fledged film studio. Sometimes I can hear explosions and gun fire from that studio - it is about 3-4 km from my house.

By the size of it, it must eat two a day, we would need some in northern quebec, the mosquitoes have four motors here...huge beasts. :)

My first impression was... a slaughter-house.

Have a nice week, Tomas.

Tomros - Pano on September 18, 2013

Well, the slaughterhouses were not far from here.

I am not sure if there are any left in Toronto.

The stench was sometimes too much!
