I am 80 years old, and my father, Harold Hooper, was born at Lake Vyrnwy when his father was one of the water engineers at the time of the building of the reservoir dam. When I was a teenager I went with my father to visit the offices and photographs displayed of the staff all lined up in black and white pictures. I look forward perhaps to visiting it again in the future.
