Superb, Tom. Magnificent photo !

Great shot of excellent carvings (there's nothing like natural materials). Lovely colours and textures. Tom, the difference between your photos and most are like the difference of a sketch on a page and being there in person. I have to say it again, there's a wonderful three dimensional quality to all your work. Kind regards

Martin

Great photo, Tom. I recently got a similar shot in Skaneateles, New York. The only difference is that instead of a Chess set there is a miniature golf course! I hope to post it soon. dave hermon

Very sorry for my delay in responding folks. I'm trying to stay out of trouble by keeping busy. :)

Many, many thanks to Downtownmagic, Bruce, Radek, Maggie, Liam, LM, Ian, Mick, Arthur, Bert, Martin and Dave for all of the great comments, observations and kind critiques. Most appreciated. :)

A special thank you to Downtownmagic and Arthur for the Best of's and to Downtownmagic for the YS.

These chess pieces are not light being solid wood over two feet tall. Definitely a "work out" Mick. :)

I do Radek but it has been a few years.

Martin - I am thankful for your "3D" comment. Truly a compliment in photography. :)

All the best from Virginia,

Tom
