These bikes are parked near a gracht (canal) somewhere in the Amsterdam's Grachtengordel, the central district of the biggest city in the Netherlands. Bikes are the best means of transportation in flat Netherlands. It's a pleasure to use the special bike lanes all around the country. This is a scanning of a 2001 paper print.
