The majority of alcoves within mesa Verde are small crevices or ledges able to accommodate only a few small rooms. Very few are large enough to house a dwelling the size of Cliff Palace. Recent studies reveal that Cliff Palace contained 150 rooms and 23 kivas and had a population of approximately 100 people.

Yes I've been here, it's really interesting the facts they tell you, the history is unbeliveable. I have no pics of here on panoramio as of yet, hopefully will find time to put them up soon.
