One of my favourite areas off of Fleet St ~ Ciao nick ~ Nice angle LGM
Is this near Fleet Street Nick? It said New Fetter Lane, and I had to look in your gallery to map it :)))
I was waiting for Liz to come out of work, it's a great area for photography, but one needs a wide angle lens!
Yes if you walk on down past the New Square development ~ Fleet St is the next main road that you come to at a cross roads ~ and yes I agree a wide angle lens comes in rather handy round here ~ Did you see the new ship in a bottle by the National Gallery on Plinth four Trafalgar Square by the way?
I only had 20 minutes to spare here unfortunately, so I really didn't see a lot. Next time I go down though, I might invest in a wide angle lens! I was looking after James in the following days, so really couldn't get down to the city! It is fascinating around this part of London I have to say :)))
Well you managed to pack a lot of building into the frame anyway LGM ~ Fleet St is a very interesting street and can take you up towards St Pauls as well and then you can pop across the Millenium Bridge to Tate Modern as well ~ oh what fun ~ in a few years time James would enjoy that too ~ to me this is a fascinating area ~ Ciao LGM :)))
I have the same acute angle from a different angle Amelia. It's a great new development by Land Securities. If you look on GE, at High Holborn, my one is entilted 'Architecture pointing the way'
Hi KC, I've had a look at it :))
It is spectacular architecture, but I fear that Nick has London all sewn up, including this area, so it's unlikely that you and I will get many views :)))
Don't tell Nick that Amelia, I try to beat him to most of it and would say we're almost 50-50.
This is still one of my favourite areas dearest LGM ~ At the moment I'm enjoying the Female London Marathon which is taking me past other favourite locations too :~) Enjoy your Norski Sunday xxx
Did you see the womens cycling sprint as well this morning?
keepclicking, No I missed it, but I'm enjoying the Murray to good to hurry match right now, after watching the sailing :~)
I'm reading outside and coming in occasionally to watch Murray - I think he is smiling - or is that a grimace? Anyway I must go outside again - as soon as I watch things go to pieces! ;-)
I'm singing in the rain ~ what a glorious feeling ~ One Gold for Murray ~ Roll on the mixed doubles :~)
I watched while Federer got a couple of points, then the next I knew Murray had won the match - while I was reading outside. :)))
I hope you are sucking on mints too Nick. :)))
Mixed doubles have started - must go out and have a read again!
One set up and I'm a sucker for mints :)))
one set all !!!!
The sand volleyball interrupted the tennis on Norwegian TV - and the sand obviously got in got in Andy's eyes. Still - silver is no mean feat! :-)
To win a Gold and a Silver in one afternoon is an achievement by anybody's standards I reckon ~ So we also award him a set of honourable Norski Booties xxx
and well done Laura as well :~)
