Ooh this defeintely rates a Y* - John!!

Tell me, how did you manage to achieve that wonderful back-lighting and high-lighting? The lotus is positively glowing!

Warmest wishes, Hazel

John Adamson on June 11, 2010

Hello Hazel and many thanks for the Y* and your lovely comments. The lighting was natural soft sun; you can get a bit of an idea of the suns angle from the shadows. Because of the height of the flower I held the camera away above my head and angled the viewing screen down, so there was quite a bit of luck in that it turned out so well.

Best wishes, John
