I've been on the island a couple of times (summer & winter) and missed the hill! Thanks to Google Earth however I found the grass airfield off of Fishermans Lane and Pinegrove Road, never knew it was there either.

By boat only unless of course it's winter when you can walk to it over the ice. There is evidence of fishermen and fowl hunters litter the island but it is not a place to camp. There is very little hard ground; it's wet, tangled with old growth and bug infested.
