Photo by my oldest daughter. When she gave me her memory card to upload her photos from vacation her quote was if you use any of my shots on that photo site you had better give me credit. She was pleased as punch that I chose this one to upload.
The roots have grown
As can be shown
They point down
Like a frown.
Very interesting photo! Is this where the best driftwood comes from?
When will she get her own Pano gallery? Let me know...!!!!
Wow, I'm impressed Tery! It is even better here than on my notification. You do have a way with words!
You are probably right about the driftwood, Jean. Don't think the gallery will happen for a long time to come as she hopes to go on to grad school. Facebook will probably be more her style as less work than Pano. But is nice to see her enjoying photography.
wow! Love the BW!
Yes, this one just asked for B & W when I saw it! Glad you agree.
Clearly, your daughter knows an interesting subject when she sees one.
I like to think roots like this are the tree world's equivalent of a hard life - the kind you can see written on an old fisherman's face, or the hands of an aged carpenter.
What a neat observation! I really love it and think it is totally true. My daughter will be very happy to read your comment. Thanks for stopping by.
Fantastic! It looks great in black and white! This really reminds me of some of the roots you can see in South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida! They are truly amazing!
Yes, I thought this was a really great photo when I saw it (my daughter took it) and that it deserved to be turned into black and white to accentuate the roots. Thanks for your nice comment!
