Thanks very much for hte Like l.siska!

Thanks JBtheMilker! You really must have gotten the brunt of the smoke on Memorial Day up there in northern NH. It was so awful, but it sure made for a great sunset.

Great title **Kamalyn for this photo, which is also very atmospheric. Lets' hope the sun bubble doesn't get any lower - it might burst :))

kamalyn on October 4, 2010

Thanks Amelia! LOL, I think the sun might have gotten low enough that, while it didn't burst, it did get a bit of a leak. That would explain the horribly hot summer we had here!

Thanks very much Puna! This kind of sun is common for you, but we don't get too many like this here, even in summer. Cheers!

Thanks Steve! So nice to see you here!

Thanks very much Yvonne! This one was really making the best of a bad and really unpleasant situation. It was a clear and dry spring day, but the air was filled with smoke from wildfires hundreds of miles to the north. This is a photo from earlier in the day when it should have been sparklingly clear. But lol, seeing how thick the air was, my first thought was to get to the shore for a big red sunset.
