Looks like a nice place! Any more leaks? :)
Great shot! The HDR was done perfectly!
So what happened to my replies? Maybe I didn't ......
Kevin I spent tonight patching my boat and as it is so warm I was able to test it aftewrwards. AOK!
Thank you Liam I am trying to get the HDR to be subtle enough! I think the deer and fawns (not in this image) show my progress.
As an afterthought.... has anyone seen a Blue Heron in the mountains? We were discussing this tonight (returning from kayak testing) and decided we had never seen a great blue heron in our mountains. Would that be correct?
All the best to you both Jethro
Mmmmm, very interesting. You know, it certainly is not a common sighting although I do believe our mountain region to be within the blue heron's range of habitat. It seems like I might have seen a blue or gray heron around the Lake Powhatan area last year - can't say 100%.
Thanks for your comments Kevin. Come to think of it I have seen one of those little multi-colored herons around this or the neighboring lake.
I shall have to investigate further.
Ay oop Jethro
Everytime I think "I can't be bothered with this HDR malarky" I see stuff like this (and the fawns, how DID you do that??) that makes me interested again...Darn, this will probably mean standing for ages on some Lochside getting eaten alive by midges...
Now then chuck (Bob I mean)
I cannot feel any sympathy for you living in a land (as I do) where we get eaten alive my mosquitoes and chiggers and worse........
But I have dabbled with QTPFSGUI (now Luminance) a free program and quite like the results I get. I hate overdoing it, so only do that occasionally.
Give it a go, I'll help you if you let me.
