Thanks Guy and Dianne - and the number one entry from Massachusetts! ;) so I won't be letting that ranking go to my head. But, LOL, rereading the comments above, I realize why they have had to limit our favorites to speed up the site: I bet Steve added every single entry to his favorites! We'll REALLY be in trouble if there's a 'Waves' theme some month! :D

Hello, Kamaly! Great shot! How did you shot the sun without the sunrays? Thanks for sharing. Greetings from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Thanks very much Puna and starman79 ! Starman it's thanks to a very hazy sky on a humid day in July that blocked out a lot of the sun's light as it set. What's a bit frustrating is that the sun was much more orange, more like the reflection. Sure wish I could have caught that color. And Puna - I'm sure you must see a lot of sunsets with the sun setting into the hot humid west like this. I was in Port of Spain for a while, and it seems we'd see lots like this. Cheers to you both!

Thanks very much brezza ! This was a bit of a lucky shot, I guess, as I've never been able to catch a sunset quite like this at the lake since this day.
