My husband taught water resource engineering until he retired, particlarly interested in wetlands and groundwater. A few months ago he heard from some expert that the loostrife threat seems to be declining, at least in areas. (I'll confess to enjoying it along the route to visit our sons.)
Interesting field your husband is in Marilyn! I know that there are some beetles that feed on the leaves that have been introduced to try to control it. I wonder if those have been working. Cheers!
