Hello Marilyn! I see you have been travelling again... I love this photo for its mood. The cloudy sky and the exotic grasses in the foreground contribute make a cityscape much more interesting than it might have been otherwise. I am just heading out the door but will be back later to have a closer look through your gallery. Have a great day!

Very good, I admire how you got so much 'atmosphere' in the photo, on such a dreary day!

Millotaurus Pierwszy on June 4, 2010

While the day may be dreary, your shot is anything but, Marilyn. That's a pretty cool shot, with those low, threatening clouds hovering over the tall buildings.

Caffin Christian on June 5, 2010

Great view! Cheers, Christian

Thanks for your comments, Tanneke, Vicki, Jeroen, millotaurus, n1w, and Christian. The scene was spectacular but the weather was so poor - I think maybe that actually stimulated me to look a little harder for "the picture." I'm glad you think I found one!

Cheers, Marilyn

I am back here...with something like afterthought...people will never achieve this kind of construct perfection as common grass did...scyscrapers should be several kilometers high...:-)

Hank Waxman on October 2, 2010

The wispy plants make this shot special. Nicely done.

ANTON CRUZ on October 20, 2010

Very dramatic sky and wonderful composition. Cheers, Anton.

It may be an overcast sky but what a wonderful photo I love it! Greetings from Tasmania -- regards Gary
