Ballachulish Bridge Under Construction

This is a shot from the South side of Loch Leven, at South Ballachulish. It shows the Ballachulish Bridge under construction. The line of cars is waiting to cross using the ferry, which can be seen on the slipway on the other side. Ours is the big red Hillman Avenger, complete with trailer, and boat on the roof, ready for a fortnight in Ardnamurchan.

I had some slides taken there in 1971, while I was waiting to cross on the ferry from North Ballachulish.

The image can be improved somewhat with a bit of Photoshop-ing.
