Thank you!
The Hammer, I dearly love the Southern Oregon Coast and I appreciate your offer but I have a family to support and I cannot consider offers that do not involve at least some partial reimbursement of my expenses, to help offset my current negative cash flow.
In fact, for me (or anyone else) to provide photos without compensation would be to engage in the highly unethical practice of "lowballing", supplying goods below cost and putting professionals out of work. We cannot afford to put people out of work in these hard economic times, that only accelerates the downward economic spiral. I know your budget is tight, but I also expect that you do not ask your employees or contractors (marketing staff, Web designer, etc) to work for free. Please consider offering some moderate but reasonable fee as a compromise.

Hi Jeff.
Sorry to hear your finances are so tight. Most people who post photos here are not professionals, but amateurs like myself.
I do not have a money making website, but am doing it in order to help save my community from this economic downturn. The Oregon South Coast has survived in the past through timber and fishing. Both commercial operations are nearly shut down (sport fishing is alive and doing very well) leaving a large number of people unemployed. This is a beautiful area and I am trying to increase tourism to help the community. I expect to lose thousands of dollars on the project this year, but it is my way of giving back.
As far as employees go, there are two of us and we make no money from this project. So contrary to your assumption, not only are we working for free, we are spending our own savings on the project. I have another paying job and do this in my spare time. All I can offer you is free publicity.
I respect your wishes and hope things improve for you and your family in the future.
