Great shot and title Ian. Greetings Berend

Your ancestors were into naming things in this part of the world, Berend, so thought you might allow me a little liberty with a Dutch name. The seals and sea lions just seemed to be like debris strewn on the rocky beach. The mothers with their pups were sheltering further up, usually among the shrubbery.

Thanks for yuor appreciation.

what a peaceful resting! Did they IRL make a lot of noise?? :))) btw i have this seal-shot to show you dear Ian it's a favorite of mine although I didn't zoom in as I was fully unaware of the seal showing up with a fish in his mouth :)) Warm wishes, Peter

Hello Peter,

This group were sound asleep. The only movement was of a couple of mothers with their cubs, but they were out of this image. But on the other side of the headland it was party time, for there was a pool party at each of the pools in the neighbourhood. They were all keeping the neighbours awake with their cahoots, loud conversations and laughter!

I enjoyed your surprise as you looked across the water to the enchanted island.

Warm regards,

Greetings gondor,

And you will enjoy it too, if you make this far south - sundeck is good when the water is so cold.
