Sometimes there's more truth in fakeness, but I don't like the word fake, because it IS an original—the word to use is artifice. Not the idea or the technique is original or the fact that you already did it in art class, but it is fakely true that it couldn't exist anywhere else but in your realm. Which is real. I really like it. It gave a look twice, my mind not fully accepting it but not rejecting it either. It looks like a good, could test your own patience, process to it. The composition is well done and the colors, but most of all the continuity is utter brilliance. The position of the pencils in the pencil holder, the way the paper overlaps on top of the ruler, and consistantly through the infinite photos in the frame. DETAILS are everything. You got that, Miss Jessica. You have that. A really wonderful photograph; the drawing/painting must be really good too.

Hi former Phoenie,

I got a picture of a clown last week. Try to take a guess what I might do. It'll take me a while but I'll get it done. Could be prettttty funnnny. :) Thanks for the inspiration. This will also get me to actually do it, whatever it might be.

LOL, I can't wait to see it!

Jessica I love photos of different, innovative objects and unusual angles. Wolfgang on June 30, 2008

Really nice picture, it almost look as rander. I really like it, but you should do little bit better with the frame edditing. It will be even more difficult to get your "secret".

Jessica G. on June 30, 2008

Thanks, Wolfgang and aida! Aida, did you see my newer version of this picture? I have improved at editing quite a bit since I made this! (But I've also gotten some much better programs...)

Hi Jessica,

Nice photo. It reminded me of this other one I encountered at some point. Maybe it will give you some inspiration for future shots :)
