Estrellita de oro de mi parte

nicolino333 on June 10, 2010

Many thanks for the link, Nicolino. The Beagle is a lovely breed of dog; clean and gentle and, of course, not at all vicious. I prefer big dogs but for lots of people the Beagle is just the right size - neither too small or too big. The first dog in my family, when I was just a boy, was a mongrel that grew-up with our pet cat and was adept at walking along the tops of fences and sleeping on shed roofs! This was followed by two lovely slobbery Boxers (Cobber 1 & 2) and then an incredibly beautiful and gentle Dalmation with a silky-white short coat of fur interspersed with maroonish 'liver spots'; perfect camouflage in the snow! My sister now has an elderly, fearless, very intelligent mongrel and we all love her very much.

Best wishes, Brian.

You are welcome, Brian, I thought you might like my little dog (he has got an English name: Charlie Brown).

I also used to prefer big dogs, but Charlie was given to us when he was just a puppy, and we loved him at first sight. He is not a Beagle, but an undefinable descendant from various Italian tribes ;-). When he grew up, he became a medium size dog, quite slim and taller than a Beagle.

Charlie has lived only little more than one year. This account is dedicated to him and his virtual playmates, and it was a great pleasure for me to remember and re-invent his life and adventures ...

Thank you so much for telling the story of your dogs. You described them so well that I can almost see them ...

Best wishes, Nicolino

Ah, I used to like the 'Peanuts' cartoon strip, Nicolino. Many thanks. My regards to Charlie.

Best wishes, Brian.

Thank you, Brian! Strange enough, although Charlie lives only as virtual creature, I am always delighted if he finds new friends ... (love me, love my dog ;-))

Pleased to give your regards to him!

Cheers, Nicolino (and a friendly bao-bao from Charlie)
