There are some spectacular surf beaches - especially on the north side of this peninsula

Hi Dean, I won't tell!!;-))) This was shot with an Olympus 3.2mp compact,not ideal for this type of shot really.The weather wasn't good at all,but the coastline is spectacular to say the least but we still enjoyed our trip.I may be wrong but i think this was part of the setting for the film...Ryans Daughter...many moons ago.

Having seen your works of art I had presumed this was on a tourist camera and not an all weather dslr tripod shoot ;) still a cracker though- and it's really nice to see the other side of the 'postcard' shots
When it gets really bad there are 40-50ft waves to be seen on the north side of this peninsula - and further up the west coast - we actually had one measure 67 feet this winter
