Thanks Neil, this is a busy rail bridge en route from west to east Norway through the few parts of lowland Norway :))

Hello Marian, I was only too pleased to vote for your photo :)))

Greetings from Norway, Amelia

Good morning Janina, many thanks my friend for your lovely compliment. It is really quite an ugly bridge, but it is very important as far, as rail transport is concerned, in Norway :))

Dear Tonia, many thanks for the BO, even though it is now not used. It just shows how late I am with my replies!

Warm greetings from Norway, Amelia

My dear friends, I must apologise for this very late reply, I never seem to catch up on Panoramio :(

Nestor, I am very happy that you liked this photo. All rail traffic through Drammen goes over this bridge :)

Dear Suzi, so this is a trestle bridge? I learn something new every day. I'm really pleased that you like it :)) Hugs from Shropshire x x

Dear Nick, of course, being a mermaid, I use the underwater route, and the signals don't work ~ so there are never any delays. So much quicker don't you know ;))

Hello dear Billy, I just cannot help myself with reflections; but here's a little secret - it's a fantastic way of checking whether a photos is horizontal/vertical or not ;)))

Thank you Millotaurus. Drammen is a fairly small city in Norway, but there are some very interesting things to take photos of :)

Good evening Alfred, many thanks for the BO - it just shows how out of date I am with all my replies! Many apologies to you.

Hello John, as always, many thanks for your visit and kind words. greetings sent to The Netherlands :)

Dear Anne, many thanks my friend for your visit and lovely compliment, and many apologies for this late reply. Maybe, now that the days are short, I might keep up and get visiting galleries :))

Thank you David, for the Y*. I didn't think this rather ordinary railway bridge in Drammen would be of much interest. Warm greetings to 'down under'. I hope you are enjoying your springtime :))

Dear GHISLAIN, I am really happy that you liked this photo. I guess it would be difficult to paint, and nowhere near such a beautiful subject as waves :))

Hello Vittorio, this bridge is nowhere near as pretty as The Charles Bridge in Prague, but I'm delighted that you paid a visit, and left such a nice compliment :))

Good evening Jan, I'm very happy that you liked this photo. To the left of the bridge the area is very industrial, and there are many ships carrying cars from the port of Drammen. The area is very interesting here :))

Many apologies to you all for this late reply. I will try to do better :))

Warm greetings from the UK, Amelia

Many thanks for all your great comments, and many apologies for keeping you waiting so long for my reply. I somehow think that I shall never catch up on Panoramio. I much prefer visiting the galleries of others. So, be sure that, when I have time, I'll be with you all :))

Warm greetings from the UK, Amelia

Another nice reflection photo, Amelia. I like how this one leads us in from the left, right across into the photo. Well done! Greetings from Canada, Patty

Amelia Royan, on December 13, 2010, said:

Thanks Patty. It isn't a very pretty bridge, and there are remnants of an older bridge alongside. But it is well used as it carries all the rail traffic in and out of Drammen. Incidentally, when a train goes over, the river is disturbed and the reflection is more imperfect :))

Greetings to Canada, Amelia
