Danke für deinen Kommentar Andreas. Übrigens, und das kann man nicht sehen, die Straße die unter der Brücke hindurchführt ist an dieser Stelle auch der größte Eingang in den Hamburger Freihafen (dort kann man ohne Zollabgaben Waren lagern). Viele Touristen wundern sich wenn sie in Hamburgs Mitte auf eine Grenze mit Zöllnern stoßen.

Hi Gernot

I had marked this shot some time ago. It reminds me of the Industrial Midlands in England. You cannot get much farther to the sea!

I used to live in Birmingham and in the 1970’s Spaghetti Junction was sprung upon us. It may still be the biggest interchange of Motorways in Europe. A very big Carbon Footprint!

Would I be right to assume this would be the setting sun?

Hi Peter, this area of hamburg is an industrial zone and I´m sure, that there is a simimlarity to some regions of Birmingham. The view you can see is out of the window of my bureau. It was taken one morning in springtime.
