It's not worth thinking about what the whole exhibition must be valued at Loz. Silly money :-)) Glad you appreciate it!

Enter Mr. Epstein....

Born in 1934 into a Jewish family in Liverpool's Childwall area, Brian Epstein was to become a vital link in The Beatles story. Not only was he the band's manager, he was their guiding light, mentor and friend. Brian began working for the family furniture business and by the early 1960's he was overseeing the musical retail section of the compny NEMS (North End Music Stores) in Whitechapel, only a few hundred yards from the Cavern Club. After a customer asked for a copy of My Bonnie ( a record the Beatles had made in Germany with Tony Sheridan), Brian decided to go to The Cavern to check the boys out.

"They were playing in a club called the Cavern near our office and I arranged to go down there and see them. At the time it was pretty much of an eye opener, to go down into this darkened, dank, smoky cellar in the middle of the day and to see crowds of kids watching these four young men on stage" Brian Epstein.

Hello Lesley just after quick "peep" in your gallery I can say there is a lot of interesting materials - I specially like this "Beatles" serie (not typical for Panoramio, but worth to see for all Beatles fans!). Hope I will be able to go through your pages in detail soon... yes, problem for Panoramio addictives - too many good photos!

Good night for a while from Prague, Czech Republic - Tom
