Hi Roger

This shot is from a little further on on a much colder day.

Now I have fished somewhere close to your picture about 40 years ago! I would have been shocked to have caught a carp in those days, so where have they come from?

Actually I was delighted to catch anything!

hi Peter hows your heath and temper?hope you are well.carp alley it got the name in the early 90s when we used to fish for them in the matches then BRS who used to own the waters banned the weighing in of carp in the matches.Best Wishes Roger

I'm not too bad at the moment, hope you and yours are also well. Thanks for the information.

I thought I would end up fishing again with my mate, who was a deal older than myself. I had visions of visiting somewhere like this, and a few carp would have made a difference.

How did you get on at Middleton? I could not make it.
