According to comments on the Cinema Treasures website, the Bluebird Theater is the oldest theater in Denver still operating as a theater, even though the movie projectors have been removed. It was built in 1915 as the Thompson Theater and became the Bluebird in 1922. Before its renovation in 1994 as a performance space, it was a venue for adult movies.

Since 2006 the Bluebird has been operated by AEG Live, the live entertainment division of AEG, one of the many holdings of Denver billionaire Philip Anshutz.

Is it ironic or deliberate that the show is entitled "The Photo Atlas"?

Very nostalgic of the USA. It reminds me, when I went to school, back in the 60s and 70s. Very nice photo.
