Docks, Port Rowan

Selected for Google Maps and Google Earth

Port Rowan a small town located on the shores of Lake Erie
is a quiet place to stay ,if you want to relax and explore the surrounding area. I arrived here late afternoon from all day on the sandy beaches in Long point, Norfolk county.

Lots of tobacco fields and corn fields around here.

Hallo Tom, This is a great photo and the water is amazingly calm! Thank you for your response to my refference to Mr Bean. I like you much more than the character of Mr Bean! But I know that he is very popular! I think he is a little like the VW Beatle use to be, 50% of people liked it and the other 50% hated it! Not to worry about my comment! Greetings! Johan

Jesus. Thank you for your kind comment & L!Tomas________________JOHAN, I used to have the VW Beatle, my first car, but it was useless, when you are young and have lots of friends. It was all I had money for! My second car was VW Minibus. Much better......

Excellent Reflection, Amazing capture of a lovely atmosphere! LIKE 17 This photo makes me want to visit Norfolk, Thank you for inspiring me! Greetings, Gord's Girl

Gord&Jess, Norfolk country is quite flat. Lots of tabaco fields and corn fields. Some of the small towns however are quite nice. Port Dover, Port Rowan, Long point sandy beaches. The tabaco drying huts are very interesting structures, specialy the older ones.

Peargrin, Mario, Kathy, LEIRE13, David, Kathia Beatriz, & Gord's Girl, Thanks, for your respective visits and Comments and likes. Tomas from Toronto. David, The lake is quite open there, but the building are not occupied by people. A big storm may cause some damage, but the same building were there quite a few years ago as one lady (MARYLIN)wrote.
