I agree with Nick simply stunning images...This is a remarkable scene..the chunks of broken ice being carried away to the edge of the lake..I could never have imagined this...thank you for sharing Marilyn

Hello Marilyn, I've been twice face-to-face with glacier like this. And enjoying photos of them, although photo cannot fully capture how monumental it is.

Nick, Jim, Tom, JB, joyfotos, juan, and Janina, I'm sorry to be so late with my thanks. It was a complicated summer, and now we're into September! But this plane ride was spectacular and my memories are still fresh. I'm happy if the photo was able to give you some feeling for the power of the view.
