Start of a walk from near The Kingfisher/B4718 (18 photos)
Great shot, Pedro.
What a wonderful scene, Peter! The red colour of the poppies matches so well with the blue summer sky and the different shades of green and white! It's really a very beautiful picture! Best wishes, Anne
Cenário espectacular Peter, nada se compara com a beleza da Natureza.Abraço,Eduardo.
A lovely splash of color Peter I hope you stopped in the Kingfisher for a cool one (I note that cold beer is making in-roads into the UK these days!).
Well Jethro I had parked at the Kingfisher and had decided to have a cold larger on finishing the walk at dinner time, but they chucked me of the car park as it is now a nightclub!
As for cold beer, well all the younger generation drink it, and as I have to suffer it when I go abroad, in this weather I can stand it.
Fortunately there are quite a number of small breweries that are now brewing traditional ale.
And what about…This is the first publicly available peated whisky ever to have been made in England.
Do you like a wee dram? After all you used to be a bit nearer to Scotland than me.
All the best Peter
Peter I have been out today trying to take a more colorful (if in a different environment) picture than this. I have NOT had any success.
As for the Whisky (or should it be Whiskey? I think that Whisky outside Scotland has an E added (amongst other things).
I checked out the location and............
The distillery sits on the banks of the river Thet just off the A11 between East Harling and Roudham on the B1111.
....left me cold. Is this in East Anglia? If my knowledge of British road naming conventions is still current, then a Norfolk Scotch Whisky sounds most bizarre!
Again, I learn much, mostly at your hand.
Best wishes from Purgatory.
Good photography and beautiful colors
Best wishes from Taiwan,Qianlong
