David, I like this better than your recent post in the critique forum. I'm finding flowers more difficult that I would have considered to compose properly. You did a nice job here.

Thanks. Flower photography is not something Ive really ever been into, but the Hibiscus in my parents garden are at their peak right now, looking very attractive with their thin translucent petals Couldn't resist a few experiments. All these were shot -2/3Ev, even so the red channel is almost totally saturated - really crazy red that hurts my eyes to look at without sunglasses! Panoramios derivatives have a strangley desaturated look on my screen.

Because I'm not all that interested! They're nice to look at in the gardens but not really my schtick. Too fiddly! I'm more into people and places, though I do like trees and vegetation with interesting lighting effects.
