Thank you kindly Liam.

We drove from Albuquerque to Durango for the sake of economy and the interesting 4 hour drive across the desert (see above !).

So we stayed over night on the return journey. A most interesting place!

Ah, we had A/C though Joy so no problem.

It was such a painless drive. Wouldn't like to cycle it though. Have you done it in winter? We'd be interested to know how that is.
