Great shot. I gave this the coveted gold star. Very nice composition and hue.
Art - good luck with re-shoot!
Steve, thanks for the gold star! This hole "Star" thing reminds me of the Dr. Seuss story about the Star-bellied Sneeches. ". . .all the Star-Belly Sneetches would brag, “We’re the best kind of Sneetch on the beaches.” With their snoots in the air, they would sniff and they’d snort “We’ll have nothing to do with the Plain-Belly sort!. . .”
Very beautiful, I like it. Voted! Greetings from Italy
Giorgio, Thank you very much for the kind comment and the vote! I'm glad you liked the shot.

Dimitris and Jeybee - Thank you very much! Wow - 179 views already on this image - I think this one is going to end up on the top of my "most viewed" list in a short while. Greetings from WI.
So much to love about this shot I don't know where to begin. I really like how the street bends around the hole, straight out of
bugs bunny and of course a wonderful sunset. Like + Favorite

Well, I think most of it is said already, Y* and Like by me, too ...
What I still could mention: was on search of images of a Wisconsin area where my godchild is going to spend a year, found your Lake Mitchigan pics and ended up somewhere in North Dakota with a "perforated" road sign ... and my friend jeybee of northern Germany was here already ... Global village ... :-))
Best regards from Vienna/Austria.
Sharmidy, I'm so glad you enjoy the "shot"! Thanks for dropping by.
Leon, Thanks also, and I loved your story. yes the world is shrinking, it seems. Greetings from WI, and I truly hope your godchild has a wonderful experience here. Going to college?
Best regards to you both,
Impressive photo! LIKE! greetings :)
Kesmev - thank you very much - so glad you stopped by! Interesting profile photo you've got there, by the way (although I guess mine is a bit off-beat as well!).
Greetings, from WI.
College, yes Herman, joining a student exchange. I'm sure she will have a great time there, took on lots of courses already - I am afraid if I had to do half of it, I would collaps immediately ... strength of youth. :-))
Leon, Best of luck to your daughter and her studies and exchange experience. I think it will be great - lots of friendly and kind people here. Ethnically, the area is predominantly German, with quite a few Norwegians as well. Some Swiss communities scattered about too, like New Glarus and Monroe.
Glad to see that you still have a good eye for a outstanding shots. I like your work.
ryanhk- thanks, and sorry for a very slow reply! Greetings from WI.
