* Adorable et Jolie *
Somehow I'm drawn to lighthouses Suzi..Perhaps that is what the devil intended..However, the siren song from a foghorn usually brings me to my senses..A shipwreck in the making eh!!
Love the shot
Hi Urbi ;>)
Beautiful shot and colors !
Regards from Italy !
Magnificent scenery dear Suzi, with beautiful detail on the cliffs, and wild sea. I don't expect the lighthouse is manned now - what a lonely existence - but what a view :))))
Leaves me speachless....
Great work Suzi. I love that little lighthouse and those small peaks in front of that. Great capture. Well done, Herb
Merci, Domi - Amitiés (O:
Many thanks, Urbi - this is a much photographed scene! I am happy to have seen it - and it is so close to the Sea Lion Caves and hundreds of seals and sea lions - a wild and ruggedly beautiful area of our coastline! Friendly greetings (O:
There have been a great many shipwrecks along this coast, dear Jim, a lot of them ships carrying logs and lumber. I enjoy the lighthouses too - coastal treasures! We both seem to love the sea, whichever sea it may be. Happy summer and many thanks (O:
Thanks very much, Giu, for your welcome visit and comment. Friendly greetings from the Oregon Coast (O:
Hi, Mike_Wagner neighbor, and thanks! Your comment seems to have disappeared, but I still had the email, trying to catch up on comments now! It is a grand spot to stop and shoot a few photos - hope to see the area again before too long (O:
An outstanding shot of a very picturesque lighthouse! Y*
A happy hello, dear Udo - thank you for your nice comment! I am far behind on answering comments - sorry to be so tardy. It must about time for you to travel home! Have a grand time, dear friend (O:
Thank you for the nice compliments, dearests LBM and LGM - how could we not enjoy a view like this, and a large cave to shelter in so nearby! Hugs and best fishes from LTM (O:
Many thanks to you all, Herb, John and Bryan (special thanks for the star). It is a special place, picturesque and with an energy you notice when there. I am very happy to hear from each of you, and wish you all the very best of a happy summer (O:
Completely irresistable place and picture dear Suz Y* and like Hugs Peter
Thank you, dear Peter - you are very generous! Our Oregon coast is much different to California's - much more desolate of population - we have trees instead - and I have yet to see a houseboat in the harbors or on our Bay. It is very rugged, our coast. Warm hugs (O:
wonderfull light, like, hervé
Thanks very much, Hervé! Hoping your summer is very fine (O:
