Perhaps I should change it for a red and yellow sky - a sort of radioactive glow? - Oh no that would be further up the coast towards Seaton and Hartlepool!

Hi Kenny

Shots like this always remind me of Quatermass!

Now that shows my age!

All the best Peter

Hi Peter How weird, I thought the same. I remember it like it was yesterday a man covered in slime walking down some steps saying "it burns". Strange how the memory works!

Kenny you DO NOT remember Quatermass !

I only remember it as a kind of fetal dream so I am sure that you must be thinking of something else as you're way too young.

Now Peter on the other hand.........

Hi Jethro Oddly enough I DO remember it, perhaps it was a repeat on TV! You are right I am far too young HA HA!

As usual Kenny Panoramio provokes a round of research here in my Raleigh Retreat.

From the fount of all knowledge we learned that the character has stuttered to life numerous times throughout the ages. My first recollection is Quatermass and the Pit (1958-59) when I would be 4 years old!

So maybe you can remain a young bloke after all.

Thanks, good link. I found THIS Check out the chemical factory. This is what I remembered however he did not say "It burns"
