And here's a past close up of the wires over the bridge

That sun will never fit between those things. Silly sun.

Bits-n-Pieces on July 10, 2010

LOL, that means it has to stay here in America, and Australia won't have a sun tomorrow!

Imagine how surprised they were!

Now that I've gotten the silly out of the way, I like this one, Bits. It quite fits a lyric from an old song that I like: And I think it's gonna be alright Yeah, the worst is over now The mornin' sun is shinin' like a red rubber ball

Of course, you're not the type to be catching the morning sun, but we'll ignore that for now. ; )

I think I like that song too, not1word. Oh, and yes, Kamalyn: I like the picture as well.

Speaking of the morning sun: I'm sitting in the morning sun right now, and that isn't a good idea if you're watching pictures on a computer screen. I'll have to come back here after sunset.

Thanks n1w! It was interesting to catch this view. I typically try to get to the bridge itself to get the sunset - like this view and this view, and lots more that I've never posted.) But I'd hung around in the wildlife refuge chasing baby plovers for a bit too long. A happy mistake. Though now seeing it from afar, I wonder how I can stand to stand on the bridge at sunset - how do I not get burned???

(And in spite of the joking, I actually do occasionally get up to see a summer sunrise. But there's no nice photo-worthy spot nearby, so the photos aren't postable.)

Thanks for the link and the liking Norrel! I hope it cools off for you so that you can live inside your house once again :)

Thanks K for sending the sun over, we did get it yesterday, muchly appreciated, but we have sent it on, not sure who was next in line for it. :)

It's nice that you share so well, Dianne. : )

Bits-n-Pieces on July 13, 2010

You're most welcome, Dianne! Looks like it's come back here, but at least the temps aren't quite as bad as they had been.

And n1w - Dianne does share nicely, doesn't she? Especially notable now that she would so much like to keep the sun there to warm things up!

Bits i found it here but it was very shy just a peak. we could do with a bit more warmth, coldest winter for 50 years 22 days below 0c surfing has been great but very bad when you get out the water to get changes. steve
