A very sweet image, surely the cow should be with his son grazing by these enchanting landscapes.

Best regards.

Hi Jim, Welcome and thanks for accepting my invitation.

Its good to see some English Cattle.

Are these Holstein cows? or Friesians the well-known dairy cattle.

Bonne Année 2013 Ray

Grey Eagle Ray~~~Apologies for the belated response Ray, it was great to find you in my gallery, it's been a long time :) As for the Holstein/Friesian question, I am given to believe that they are one and the same!

Doc ARVERNE 03~~~Thanks Doc :) The English rural scene was blighted by a very serious outbreak of Foot & Mouth disease about 11 years ago when millions of our best cattle herds were culled and cremated/interred..The fields were left empty for many years before the stocks could be re-built..Only now is the country side returning to something like its former state!

Such gentle beasts deserve a place in Panoramio!

Thanks for stopping by!

Jim
