Yes, seeing a "Big Boy" in action would be great. I'm lucky enough to live 2-3 hours from a railroad museum that has a "Big Boy" loco. Check out Steamtown,in Scranton Pa if you get a chance. Chuck

I have never made it to Steam town, I am not sure why not. I have ridden 38 American steam trains and ran a saw mill for a summer off steam. Once steam get in you blood, it is there to stay.

This is Locomotive #15 built by Baldwin in 1914 and has served the East Broad Top Railroad her entire career. In 2010 she was returned to her historic all-black paint scheme.
