Two osprey (Pandion haliaetus) nests can be seen at the tops of dead trees in this view. One is in the third tree to the left of the light pole. the second low to the left of the tallest tree to on the right. One of the many crepe myrtles (Lagerstroemia indica) is blooming in the median of this approach to the Chesapeake Bay Bridge & Tunnel.
