The lake (with its lighthouses), the bluffs, the natural areas ... they are all part of why we love our summer home even though it is too far from our "real" home to be practical! (It belonged to my grandparents and then my parents.)

I grew up in IL, studied in OH and NY, worked in three other states, then moved to Canada (Ontario) when I married a Canadian! But we have a summer home (once owned by my grandparents, then by my parents) in WI, where this lighthouse was taken.

We've been to one meeting in the San Diego area but are reluctantly deciding not to go to another this Nov. Too much travel, since we're taking a major trip before then.
