My Dad helped build Thule Air Base. It was a secret project at the time, in 1954. He was in Blue Jay, Thule, Greenland. I was 9 and don't remember the details but would love to talk with others who was involved or had a family member involved with this project. I have a photograph of the flat topped mountain called Dundas. Dad told me it was Old Smoky, like the song, I guess he was trying to thrill me.
