If you need proof that driving in New York City can be nerve-wracking, then here it is!
Fantastic traffic! Great capture. Greetings. Finn.
Many thanks for your kind comments Finn, it's very nice to read them.
With regards, Mook
Wow, a little busy!
Very nice streetview, Mook.
Best wishes sent your way,
Yeah, we were really glad that we didn't have to drive on these streets ourselves! Just trying to walk across was tricky enough!!
Thanks so much for your friendly visit and your nice comments. Always such a pleasure for me to read :-)
Warm regards from Mook
What an impressive sight Mook! This photo gives a good idea about the streets in NY. I suppose the smell of the fumes won't be fine there...? But, I still would love to visit that town.... once.
Warm greetings from Ria
I wouldn't want to drive there.. ever!! However, the fumes weren't a problem at all, we didn't even notice them. It seems there is a real push on using eco-friendly vehicles in the city, even the buses were "green". NY is definitely worth a visit (in my humble opinion :-)) just because it's so different from "our worlds".
Thanks Ria for your nice visit!
With very best wishes to you from Mook
very nice photo! LIKE!
Many thanks, Alex, for your visit, kind words and LIKE! I really appreciate it!
Now that's quite some traffic Mook! I don't know if it's always that busy out there, but actually that is exactly how I imagine NYC. I just have to visit this place!
Then you've imagined NYC exactly right, Tomas! This was the scene at least twice a day in downtown Manhattan. Add to that chaos the sound of all those horns honking and you've got it! I really don't know how they get anywhere at all.. you're better off to walk or take the subway (or tour bus - that worked out just great!) It's an amazing city to visit, I would love to go back!
Thanks for your friendly visits :-)
