Awesome shot! Really a spectacle. Great with the people to show the enormity of the falling water. Must have been a great moment to see it live!

Hi Jean,

Thank you for visiting this waterfall. There are a lot of them in Iceland, some quite big! Strange thing is, that even though the falls look mighty, the river flowing away from here is quite gentle and shallow. You could probably walk through it quite easily. Glad you like it. Best wishes Peter

I'm glad you told me about the shallow depth of the river here. That is amazing. It sure looks like a whole lot of water. Of course, I am amazed at how much water spilled on the floor looks like gallons when it is only half a glass.
