Ahh, that's a lovely view as well. Often old things seem sad when new things are placed next to them, but here I think it's the reverse. The stone arch just looks like it belongs here. It's part of this world, and those new headstones are trespassing. They kind of look like little kids sneaking up the entrance of a dragon's cave, nervous about how close they can get and who will should Hello! first.

Lol!… Ryan, I love your imagination! happy smile Your description makes the tomb stones all come to life, as absurd as it sounds for a graveyard. Your observation is wonderful, now I will always have a happy smile on my lips, when I look at the picture, for it's you or me or any spectator who takes the role of the dragon.

Typically Irish alright May! The rounded mountains, the colours, the celtic crosses, the clear air, and the sea close to everything. Ryan is right - the modern headstones seem so out of place even though they are so typical of an Irish graveyard. And look how the jagged arch mimics the jagged coastline in the satellite shot!

Gerry, thank you very much for your visit and great comment! :-) Lovely observation about the jagged arch and coastline - thank you! I don't mind about the modern headstones, they belong to todays Ireland as well and life goes on, if I may say so, talking about a graveyard. :-)
Best greetings, May
