I recently got a copy of your Quinault calendar. Great stuff!! It is so hard to get up to see these places and often if you do it is cloudy. I very much appreciate the calendar and the information printed on the pages. Thanks very much for presenting these places for us to see.
Thank you very much O.M.. I am glad you were able to get a copy of the calendar. I enjoy doing the calendar and pick a different theme each year. I do try to get to places that I know a lot of people will never get to see in person and at the least bring it to them through my photos.
Fantastic! Is this where the trail ends? If you go to the right, will it take you around to the scramble route?
Thanks! The trail ends just above where I took this photo. I have never climb Mt Anderson, but have been all over this basin and lower part of the glacier.
All the best to you in the New Year, Larry
Wonderful picture and place LARRY .Greetings from Austria Marita
Thank you Marita.
Best regards, Larry
When I was growing up in Indiana, I read about many places and this was the one area I wanted to visit the least. AND now I live here. Amazing how much ones perceptions change over the years.
I have decided to start from your oldest pictures, because I will browse through the whole gallery, that's for sure! Greetings, Tommy/South Africa
I hope you wll be pleased with what you see.
Looks like this photo, or similar is used in the article in NWIFC magazine. Are all of the photos of the Anderson glacier taken at the same time of the year?
Don A Kenmore
I do provide the NWIFC with photos through Quinault. The spring 2010 issue did use a photo of the glacier from 2004. Most of the photos were taken in summer. The number at the end of the title is the year and month.
Best regards, Larry.
